Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist and charitable philanthropist. Graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Amal Clooney is a star of a long and successful profession as an internationally renowned lawyer and philanthropist. The most prominent clients she worked with were national states such as Armenia who were fighting to recognize the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney got engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within popular media. Prior to this, she was well-known and loved by legal professionals as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients effectively and with the success they have achieved. She has a wide range of work to do, that ranges from the issue of social justice as well as issues related with human rights, to representing various multinational companies in court, and in negotiations regarding government regulation. She is now a barrister, which is the name given to a lawyer in British court.
